　　这是一场不对称战争。
　　梦.:如此短暂已经开始尝试启用SSL支持，现在https://www.briefdream.com已经基本上能用了（登录才会体现），不过有部分插件没有考虑https的问题，还是会给出http开头的地址。
　　使用的是StartCom签发的证书，IE 7.0.5730.13、Chrome 3.0.195.25、Firefox 3.5.7已经通过，Opera 10.01没有通过。Lighttpd的配置方法可以参考Howto: Linux Lighttpd SSL (Secure Server Layer) Https Configuration And Installation，证书的炮制方法见《全球可信并且唯一免费的HTTPS(SSL)证书颁发机构：StartSSL》和HOWTO: Certificate installation instructions for Lighttpd。需要注意的只有，pemfile是由key和crt组成的；ca-file指的是startcom的根证书，这里是由ca.pem和sub.class1.server.ca.pem组成的。

This is a paid review for WPDesigner.com.
For recent several days I’ve been busy on moving 梦.:如此短暂 to a VPS. And some friends asked my opinion on how to select web hosting plans provided by US IDCs. Coincidentally WPDesigner.com asked me to do a review on their “Best 10 Web Hosting Sites”. I must say that their list is almost the right one, though I do not approve 1&1, because there are too many complaints on WHT. And with my own experience I agree to kick DreamHost out of the Top 10. Notice that this list only includes small budget solutions (under $10 a month), so the famous MediaTemple is not on it. Beside this work, WPDesigner.com also provides hundreds of free WordPress themes and useful tips.

　　梦.:如此短暂的域名已于2007年10月25日更换为www.briefdream.com，相应的feed地址也已更换，请注意更新。原域名沿用至2007年12月15日。对给您造成的不便，我深表歉意。

　　DoNews（北京）8月1日消息（记者 徐新事）视频分享网站六间房确认购买单字母/数字域名6.cn，价格在百万级。
　　此前有消息人士透露，六间房通过第三方花费500万人民币购买6.cn，六间房市场部人员对此表示确实已经购买，而且价格在“百万级”，但拒绝透露具体价格，称将召开发布会公布详情。
　　随着Youtube的成功，网络视频分享迅速成为新的网络热点。在中国，六间房、土豆网、优酷网也瞄准了这个领域，而六间房正是绝对的先行者。网站的访问量与其域名的繁简程度也是有一定关系的，六间房以前的域名是www.6rooms.com，标准的英文拼写式域名。不过这样的域名在中国并不看好，首先是不少中国网民不懂英文单词，其次容易误写成6room.com（现在6room.com也是六间房的域名了），另外，其读法也不好确定（究竟是读liu-rooms还是six-rooms？）从这些方面来看，更改到一个更容易被广大网民接受的域名的确实很有必要。
